Benassal is part of the Templar Route that connects the castles of Pescola and Culla, as evidenced by an old Templar seal in one of its streets, as well as the Camino del Cid, a thousand-year-old route that connects all the municipalities through which the knight Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar passed.
Benassal has hiking routes that allow you to get to know its beautiful surroundings, full of natural, historical and ethnological treasures: viewpoints, mountains, fountains, ravines, paths, dry stone constructions, remains of traditional agricultural activities and even an old school located in an incredible place.
